Overview

Destructorbs is still in the prototype stage

Destructorbs is a third-person grapple-based shooter. Players are pitted against each other in a multitude of different environments.

Primary Duties

  • Designed main mechanics abilites, and character controller systems.

  • Created, designed, and balanced multiplayer maps.

  • Designed, built, and revised all facets of the environmental assets and gameplay mechanic systems.

  • Hosted playtests and collected feedback/data from players to improve puzzles and game flow.

  • 3D Modeled, designed, and animated the characters, weapons, and environmental assets.

  • Designed and created UI elements using Photoshop and Unity UI System.

  • Created and maintained game & level design document which included all gameplay mechanics, level designs, and story details.

Design Overview

  • Designed & created all 3D models used in the game like characters, weapons, abilities, and level assets.

  • Optimized poly count on models to insure the best play and build quality, which includes high FPS.

  • Designed and built materials within Unity which provide low computing power but look great.

  • Animated all assets like weapons, characters, level elements, and more using the built in Unity Animation tool.

  • Built prefabs for assets which saved a lot of time when building levels and placing assets.

  • Designed & created menus and visual aesthetic including buttons, sliders, and menu boxes.

  • Documented all aspects of the UI & UX systems in place.
